 Christian Scuba & Snorkeling Camps
A Reef Ministries Camp is a great way for kids to experience God's underwater world! Reef Ministries offers unique Christ-centered curriculum alongside supervised underwater exploration. All our camps have a firm commitment to building safety and aquatic proficiency, while also being focused on Christian principles. Our camps include areas of development in creation studies, volunteering and/or discipleship, and stewardship.
Snorkeling Summer Camp
This 5-day camp is for 3rd through 8th graders who want to learn how to snorkel and explore God's underwater world. Campers recieve presentations on corals, fish and caring for the underwater world. Then its onto the pool to learn snorkeling skills and techniques. On the last day of camp campers go on a snorkeling boat trip to a shallow coral reef only 1/4 mile offshore in 15 feet of water. Marine Biology Creation Camp
Join Sherri Seligson, author of Exploring Creation with Marine Biology and Tec Clark, director of Reef Ministries on a Christ-centered homeschool camp exploring God's underwater world. This special camp takes place at Marine Lab in the beautiful Florida Keys. Snorkelers will be supplied masks, snorkels, fins and snorkeling vests and will even be given instruction on how to snorkel if they have never experienced it before. Campers will enjoy six days of science and exploration in and around John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. The customized curriculum allows campers to get one year's worth of marine biology labs in one week, and to participate in a volunteer survey project! Read more...
